Experience:
Hired at the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office in January, 1989.
Has worked in Transport, Court Security, and Patrol from 1989 to 1998.
Promoted to Investigation and assigned to Narcotics Division in 1998. Assigned to Drug Enforcement Administration (D.E.A.) Task Force in 2000.
Promoted to Sergeant in 2001 and assigned as Agent in Charge of Dakota County Drug Task Force.
Promoted to Captain in 2007.
Promoted to Commander in 2009, initially assigned as Commander in charge of Operations Division, and currently Commander in Charge of Detention Services.
Was a member of the SWAT Team and Underwater Rescue and Recovery Team, Field Training Officer, Defensive Tactics instructor, and Firearms instructor.
