Honor Guard


Purpose:


Started in 1996, the unit was formed by and continues to be staffed by nine officers who volunteer their time to represent the Sheriff’s Office at formal events where Colors (flag) presentation is appropriate. The honor guard team is comprised of deputies from both operations and corrections.



Goals:


To appear at memorial events on behalf of the Dakota County Sheriff's Office and the law enforcement community.
