Serve as a volunteer for the Dakota County Sheriff's Office and the citizens of Dakota County to increase available services |

Add volunteer part-time police officers who are trained and licensed to our work force |
| Requirements |

Volunteer at least 24 hours each quarter of the year |
| |
Attend required monthly meetings, unless excused |
| |
Become licensed by Minnesota Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Board by meeting licensing requirements (including fees and necessary training) |

Patrol along side full-time deputies |

Conduct prisoner transports |

Work at the Dakota County Fair |
